On March 28, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province held a conference to promote investment in Binh Dinh province in 2025. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung attended the conference.

That is the new mission, the new role placed on Binh Dinh in the coming time.

In addition, Binh Dinh has the advantage of synchronous transportation, from Quy Nhon port, future Phu My seaport, Phu Cat airport is being upgraded to form an international airport in the near future. Having an international airport is a new advantage for Binh Dinh.

"Rarely any province in the region has the advantage of a good intra-provincial and inter-provincial transportation system like Binh Dinh," said the Deputy Prime Minister.

The province’s human resources are abundant, young, dynamic, and highly qualified, which are constantly improving; thereby meeting the needs of domestic and foreign investment projects. Binh Dinh has diverse development potential from industry to tourism, high-tech agriculture, and marine economy. Binh Dinh has many attractive fields for investors to exploit.

With such advantages, the Deputy Prime Minister requested Binh Dinh to create the most favorable investment and business environment, considering this as the top priority task, promptly resolving investors' problems. Always be friendly and accompany businesses.

"Binh Dinh has done well, so it must do better, be more friendly, closer, listen more, share, and resolve problems and suggestions from businesses better," Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung requested.

In addition, Binh Dinh must continue to maximize and effectively mobilize resources from the state, private sector, and other resources to continue investing in infrastructure, ensuring synchronization and efficiency. In particular, the province prioritizes investment in strategic transport infrastructure, social infrastructure development, and digital infrastructure. It is necessary to promote training of high-quality human resources, associated with attracting investment in the fields of technology and innovation.

At the same time, well implement the socio-economic development planning to promote sustainable development according to the model of digital economic development, green economy and develop ecological industrial parks associated with urban areas, expert housing areas, social housing, etc. In particular, Binh Dinh needs to take advantage of its golden geographical location to develop tourism.

Ideal destination for investors

According to Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, the locality has been focusing on investing heavily in both physical and digital infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for investors to come to the province.

Regarding physical infrastructure, it is noteworthy that the province owns a modern road traffic system with the North-South expressway running through the area, 118km long, expected to be completed in 2025. The Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway in the East-West direction is about 123km long, expected to start construction in 2025. Regarding aviation, the Central Government and the province are upgrading Phu Cat International Airport to accommodate wide-body aircraft such as Boeing 747 and Airbus A321, ensuring the conditions to become an international airport.

The North-South Expressway through Binh Dinh will be completed by the end of this year, creating development momentum for this locality.

In the field of seaports, Binh Dinh is implementing the construction of Phu My port to become the province's main seaport, capable of receiving ships with a capacity of over 150,000 tons, expected to be completed in 2028. Along with that, Quy Nhon port will be converted into a tourist and general cargo port.

Binh Dinh is also restoring the railway line to Quy Nhon station and developing a plan to develop a renewable energy high-speed railway connecting airports, seaports and key economic zones.

Regarding digital infrastructure, Binh Dinh promotes the development of artificial intelligence applications, 4.0 technology and semiconductor industry. With great advantages from international submarine fiber optic cables coming ashore, Binh Dinh is gradually becoming an important traffic junction in cyberspace, capable of providing high-speed internet services, serving advanced applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT), automation, artificial intelligence, virtual reality (AR/VR), while ensuring safety and quality of international connections.

Binh Dinh province is always determined and takes the lead in reforming administrative procedures, simplifying procedures on investment, construction, tax, customs and improving the relationship between investors, businesses and the government.

In addition, Binh Dinh has invested in many industrial parks and clusters, prepared many clean land funds in industrial parks and clusters and land funds along the East-West connecting routes, coastal roads with attractive price ranges, ready to meet the needs of investors implementing projects. Many industrial parks have infrastructure rental prices of about 25 - 60 USD/m2 for 50 years, much lower than some other industrial parks in the country.
