Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Son, Director of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, said that the Admissions-Career-Employment Consulting Festival is one of the regular activities to contribute to realizing the goals and strategic policies of the Academy in enrollment work.

Through the event, the Academy hopes to provide full information about training majors, admission methods and new points in the Academy's 2025 admissions, helping candidates choose suitable careers.

Besides, this is also an opportunity for students to learn about the labor market by listening, interacting and understanding more deeply the needs of employers, thereby orienting their future career path.

At the festival, the admission-career-job counseling activities will take place at the booths with two main areas, the first is the training unit area with the space of 15 faculties and institutes of the Academy, providing direct consultation on training programs and career opportunities. The Training Management Board will advise on the admission methods for the school's training majors/majors, provide information on conditions, registration procedures, tuition fees and especially emphasize the new points in the Academy's 2025 enrollment plan to provide and guide candidates to choose and arrange their wishes most suitable to their abilities, needs and the requirements of society.

At the Festival, there was also a discussion with the theme “Smart choice, open future”. Speakers who are lecturers of the Academy directly answered questions related to the field of study, helping students to be more confident in their decisions. In addition, students will meet and listen to speakers who are successful in their fields of work during their career as well as hear information and opinions from employer representatives about labor market trends in the context of digital transformation.

In particular, the AJC Tour program with activities of visiting lecture halls, libraries, dormitories, studios, etc. gives students and parents a real experience of the actual learning environment at the Academy.

The Academy of Journalism and Communication is a Party school, affiliated with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and is also a key university in the national education system with the mission of researching, training and fostering high-quality human resources in the fields of journalism-communication, political theory, ideology-culture and a number of other social sciences and humanities.

The Academy of Journalism and Communication currently trains 32 majors and specialties at university level, including 1 international joint program, 5 training programs according to technical economic standards; 15 majors/specializations at master's level; 7 majors at doctoral level.

The training majors/specializations of the Academy are always linked to the needs of society, in which, there are majors in Vietnam that are only trained or first trained at the Academy of Journalism and Communication such as: Foreign Information, Electronic Newspaper, Public Relations, Advertising, Mass Communication, Multimedia Communication, Publishing, Ideological Work, Management of Ideological-Cultural Activities.
