Equip knowledge and support for women to confidently take control of their lives

Sharing at the program, Master of Economics Nguyen Thi Hao, Director of the Center for Vocational Education and Support for Women's Development in Hanoi - Project Owner of Women in Control of Life said: The goal of the project is to provide information, skills and support to 100,000 women in the capital and other localities so that they can be more confident and manage their lives and careers more effectively.

Supporting women with knowledge, skills, and job opportunities will create confidence in their own abilities so that they have the motivation and determination to find solutions to build and manage their lives, and confidently make decisions to achieve their goals in family and work in a positive way.

The project will be implemented for 2 years, from May 11, 2004 to May 11, 2026, with a support level of 300 million VND/year from socialized resources supported by units, businesses, and individuals (with knowledge, skills or in-kind, cash, books, technology platforms, and working tools).

Regarding some specific tasks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hao said that the project is expected to develop a technology platform for women to study, exchange and share online with experts and successful people. On the platform, there are activities to support women in production and business, promote the spread of products; mobilize, advise and guide women to become smart consumers, able to buy products anywhere with many products of clear origin, quality at preferential prices.

At the same time, the project also supports women in spreading their image and building their brand on fanpages and groups of 930,000 women members across the city. At the same time, the project provides training on thinking and style so that women can confidently appear on air.

Along with that, within the framework of the project, there are also seminars organized for women to interact directly with successful people, thereby sharing experiences and job opportunities.

The project also focuses on training some professions that are suitable for current trends such as health care, beauty, and technology application so that women can handle their work more effectively. Organizing experiential tourism programs, visiting businesses, and scenic spots so that women have the opportunity to better understand their homeland and the development of businesses, thereby finding opportunities right from those trips.

"The results of the project will impact positive changes in awareness and behavior for at least 100,000 women to confidently take control of their lives with values ​​of autonomy and personal freedom. This is an important factor to help women develop and advance in all fields" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Hao shared.

When women have autonomy, they can develop and express themselves in the way they want. This helps them discover and develop their potential. The goal of women taking control of their lives is also related to building a fair and sustainable society. Women taking control of their lives also gives them self-worth and happiness. When women have the ability to take control and run their lives the way they want, they often feel happier and more satisfied with themselves and their lives.

 

Within the framework of the program, members and women participated in a Talkshow sharing the topic "Women take control of their lives" with the participation of Ms. Do Thi Kim Lien (Shark Lien), Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of AquaOne Group, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Green Environment Fund (Green Vietnam Fund); Runner-up Entrepreneur Nguyen Que Anh, Chairwoman of the RB Women's Economic Development Support Union, co-project owner; Director of the Center for Vocational Education and Support for Women's Development in Hanoi Nguyen Thi Hao, Project Owner.

The speakers shared their experiences so that every woman can take control of her life, which is to constantly cultivate, improve, and develop her knowledge to keep up with the times. At the same time, every woman needs to determine personal goals, set priorities for her life to have solutions to achieve the goals, thereby achieving true happiness.

Along with knowledge, women also need skills and attitudes. That is a positive attitude towards life, always "nourishing the spirit". That is the skill of reading books to apply in life, the skill of overcoming difficulties and challenges. When fully equipped, women will know how to master their lives.
