The Southern Hydrometeorological Station said that the cold air is currently weakening and moving to the East. Around March 5, the cold air will strengthen again in the North of our country. Above, the subtropical high pressure will lower its axis to the South, through the South Central - Southern region, and become active. From around March 3, it will weaken and gradually withdraw its circulation to the East. The equatorial low pressure trough with an axis of 4-6 degrees north latitude combined with high-altitude easterly wind disturbances (causing unseasonal rain) will have a weak impact on the Southern region from March 5-7.
From the above main weather developments, the meteorological agency forecasts that the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region during the weekend (from now until March 2) will be sunny, hot in some places, little rain during the day, high UV index, highest temperature around 34-35 degrees Celsius, some places over 35 degrees Celsius.
From March 5-7, due to the influence of the equatorial low pressure trough with an axis of 4-6 degrees north latitude combined with high-altitude easterly wind disturbances, the Southern region (including Ho Chi Minh City) is likely to experience unseasonal rain. The probability of unseasonal rain in Ho Chi Minh City during this period is about 60%.
