Tonight, the award ceremony of the writing contest "Impressions on coffee"

As part of the 2nd "Honoring Vietnamese Coffee and Tea" festival in 2024, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper organized a short writing contest "Impressions of Vietnamese Coffee and Tea" to create a playground for readers to compete.

The special feature of this contest is the short writing length with a word limit of 400 words. With a very diverse theme, the contest has received enthusiastic responses from readers across the country. In addition to the entries about impressive, long-standing spaces, coffee shops, tea; unique ways of making and enjoying, there are also many works telling about unforgettable memories related to these two drinks. In particular, from the habit of drinking tea and coffee every day, many authors have contemplated coffee culture, tea ceremony, and philosophy of life.

In just over 20 days of the contest, nearly 400 articles from readers near and far were submitted. Some authors submitted nearly 20 entries, while some authors were still in their teens, or even authors over 80 years old, were also very enthusiastic in participating in the contest.

The Jury of the Lao Dong Newspaper has completed the judging of the writing contest "Impressions of Vietnamese coffee and tea". Accordingly, 12 readers have quality articles that meet the criteria set out in the contest.

On that basis, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper organized the announcement and award ceremony of the contest at 6:30 p.m. on March 31 at Gigamall Trade Center (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City).

Prize structure

* Main prize (7 prizes)

- First prize: 5,000,000 VND + coffee (tea) gift + 3-month VIP card for VIP readers of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper + 1 pair of tickets to visit the special Van Gogh Multisensory exhibition (with culinary enjoyment at Van Gogh Restaurant - 8th floor, Gigamall - Thu Duc City)

- Second prize: 3,000,000 VND + coffee (tea) gift + 3-month VIP card.

- Third prize (2 prizes): 2,000,000 VND/prize + coffee (tea) gift + 3-month VIP card.

- Consolation prize (3 prizes): 1,000,000 VND/prize + coffee (tea) gift + 3-month VIP card.

The prize is a gift of coffee (tea) + 03-month VIP card/each prize:

- Prize for the writer who submits the article first.

- Prize for the individual who sends the most entries.

- Prize for the group with the most members submitting entries.

- Prize for the best article about a specific coffee/ or tea brand.

- Prize for the oldest writer.

- Award for the youngest writer
