(NLDO) – The event is an opportunity to honor the great contributions of the Vietnam People's Army to the cause of national construction and defense.


The Concert and Art Performance Program "Unforgettable Song", with the theme "Forgetting Yourself for the People" is a special activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

The program is directed by the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; organized by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

On the afternoon of December 12, the program's organizers held a press conference to inform about the event.

The special concert and art performance program "Unforgettable Song", with the theme "Forgetting oneself for the people", lasts 120 minutes, including 3 chapters: Chapter 1 is Fatherland - Ideals - Love for the country; Chapter 2 is Unforgettable Song; Chapter 3 is Continuing.

The performances harmoniously combine timeless revolutionary songs adapted and produced in the style of a semi-classical contemporary concert (Symphony Orchestra) with vivid reenactments of heroic historical moments.
