Entering the dialogue section, in response to the question about policies and solutions to help reduce environmental pollution in Hanoi raised by member Pham Thu Phuong (Ba Dinh district), Director of the Hanoi Department of Natural Resources and Environment Le Thanh Nam said that the city has synchronously implemented many solutions such as air quality management; handling pollution of lakes and rivers; sorting waste at source; developing renewable energy...
But according to Mr. Nam, the above work will contribute to the goal of Hanoi being a "healthy, livable" city.
"Basically by 2025, household waste in the city will be burned to generate electricity" - Mr. Le Thanh Nam informed.
Regarding the construction of biological storage cells to collect rainwater proposed by Nguyen Duy Khanh (Gia Lam district), Director of Hanoi Department of Construction Vo Nguyen Phong assessed that this is a solution to solve many problems, bringing specific benefits such as regulating and reusing water sources, providing clean water for production and daily life, minimizing environmental pollution and flooding.
Regarding the question of introducing "Hanoi Studies" into the school system raised by Dinh Cong Thanh (Cau Giay District), Mr. Tran The Cuong - Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training - said that the department has recently coordinated to compile the book "Hanoi Studies" and organized training for teachers.
Mr. Cuong said the department will continue to research, report to the Ministry of Education and Training and prepare the best conditions to soon introduce the "Hanoi Studies" program into training at all levels.

Concluding the dialogue, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh highly appreciated the role of Hanoi youth union members in the regular and ad hoc work of the city with specific tasks and actions.
Listening to and recording the opinions and suggestions of the youth, Mr. Thanh said the dialogue was an opportunity and a forum for the capital's youth to contribute and express their expectations for the development of the country in general and the capital in particular.
"All of your opinions today are valuable for the city to study, refine, and incorporate into the development and implementation of policies for the capital. The Hanoi Youth Union needs to organize more opportunities for young people to participate in policy making," Mr. Thanh said.
The head of the Hanoi People's Committee said that the city is orienting the development of the capital with the people as the main subject, all for a better life for the people. Therefore, Mr. Thanh said that the youth of the capital must really participate in shouldering the responsibility of building a green, cultured, civilized, and modern capital.
