Organizing many events and activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Dinh province

(BĐ) - On the afternoon of March 18, at Hai Au Hotel (Quy Nhon City), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a press conference to inform about activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Dinh province (March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025).

At the press conference, the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism informed about the organization of commemorative activities to raise awareness and pride of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life; deepen the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking" and deep gratitude to predecessors and heroic martyrs who sacrificed their blood and bones to protect the homeland.

Through the commemorative activities to evaluate the process of construction, development and achievements in socio-economics, national defense - security, building the political system of the province after 50 years of liberation; continue to encourage and motivate cadres, party members, soldiers of the armed forces and people in the province to promote socio-economic development.

The main commemorative activities include: The delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province offered flowers and incense at the Ba Mountain Victory Monument (Phu Cat district) on the morning of March 29. Organizing visits and presenting gifts to revolutionary veterans and exemplary families; meeting with exemplary military - civilian - political cadres. At the same time, continuing to have many activities to effectively carry out the work of caring for policy beneficiaries in the province.

The 50th anniversary of the province's liberation and the epic art program will take place at 8:00 p.m. on March 30 (broadcast live on VTV8 and BTV), in front of the Nguyen Sinh Sac - Nguyen Tat Thanh Monument (Quy Nhon City). The epic art program has the theme "Binh Dinh - Pride and Aspiration", recreating the history of Binh Dinh land rich in cultural sediments, patriotic traditions, the spirit of uprising and the heroic spirit of martial arts and literature that have been crystallized and highly promoted through many historical periods; recreating the typical victories of the army and people of Binh Dinh through two resistance wars against foreign invaders, the achievements of socio-economic development of the province from 1975 to the present.

In particular, after the epic art program, there will be a fireworks display, with 150 low-altitude fireworks and 800 high-altitude fireworks; the fireworks display will last about 15 minutes, expected from 9:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on March 30, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon City).

Along with that, Binh Dinh province organized an investment promotion conference for foreign investors and enterprises to learn about the province's incentive mechanisms, policies and investment environment, as a premise for investment activities and expanding cooperation between the province and foreign investors. Organized the inauguration ceremony of the projects: Phu Phong Dam (Tay Son district), Dinh River flood drainage system (Quy Nhon city).

The response activities organized include: Exhibition of historical documents "Binh Dinh - 50 years of construction and development"; Artistic photo exhibition "50 years of Binh Dinh - Land and people"; and tourism activities accompanying a series of events, such as signing cooperation agreements to develop railway tourism, organizing charter trains/carriages to the province, tourism development survey programs, etc.

Leaders of relevant units attending the press conference also provided more information about major events in the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Dinh province, such as: The 42nd National Television Festival - 2025 (from March 19 to 22) organized by Vietnam Television in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee. The National Creative Startup Forum (from March 26 to 27) organized by the Provincial People's Committee in coordination with the National Startup Association (VINEN), with the theme "Converging global resources to develop the local innovation and creative startup ecosystem in the digital economy era", including the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, the specialized agencies of the Provincial People's Committee and organizations, opening up opportunities for cooperation and strong development for the local startup ecosystem.

There are also other celebratory activities such as: Binh Dinh Province Pickleball Clubs Tournament 2025 (from March 20 to 23) organized by the Provincial Tennis and Pickleball Federation in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Festival to enjoy Hoa Trang - Ta Ma stream (from March 22 to 23) organized by Vinh Thanh District People's Committee.

At the press conference, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and related units also answered some questions from reporters, clarifying the content and preparations to organize the events well; at the same time, asking reporters from news agencies and newspapers in the province to pay attention to information, propaganda and introduce activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Dinh province to the general public.
