Similarly, raw gold 9999 and 999 in Hanoi also decreased by VND 2,600,000/tael (buy) and VND 1,700,000/tael (sell), reaching VND 95,900,000 - 97,600,000/tael and VND 95,800,000 - 97,500,000/tael, respectively.

SJC gold in these areas also dropped sharply by VND3,100,000/tael (buy) and VND2,100,000/tael (sell), reaching VND94,700,000 - VND97,700,000/tael. For jewelry gold, prices also dropped significantly, with 999.9 and 999 gold falling by VND1,500,000/tael, while lower grades of gold such as 916 (22K) and 750 (18K) fell from VND1,380,000 to VND1,130,000/tael.

Gold in Thai Binh, Nghe An and Hanoi decreased by VND325,000/tael (buy) and VND200,000/tael (sell), trading at VND9,550,000 - VND9,850,000/tael.
SJC pieces in Thai Binh, Nghe An and Hanoi decreased by 330,000 VND/tael (buy) and 210,000 VND/tael (sell), reaching 9,470,000 - 9,770,000 VND/tael.

Gold price forecast tomorrow 3/22/2025 will be slightly adjusted down
World gold price as of 5:00 p.m. on March 21, 2025 (Vietnam time) stopped at 2,175.175 USD/ounce, down 26.79 USD/ounce compared to the previous session, equivalent to about 64.263 million VND/tael (according to Vietcombank exchange rate, excluding taxes and fees).
Meanwhile, the domestic SJC gold price is still VND13,737 million/tael higher than the international gold price. After yesterday's record increase, the gold price has cooled down, but investors are still optimistic about the long-term upward trend, especially when central banks begin their policy easing cycle. The Swiss National Bank (SNB)'s move to cut interest rates by 25 basis points to 1.5% is a positive signal for gold.
However, due to the decrease in world gold prices today, domestic gold prices, including SJC gold, are likely to slightly decrease in the morning trading session on March 22, with an expected decrease of about VND500,000 - 1,000,000/tael, bringing the price of SJC gold to about VND93,700,000 - 96,700,000/tael. Investors should closely monitor global monetary policy developments to make appropriate decisions.
