On the evening of March 26, in response to VTC News , the leader of the People's Committee of Ky Loi Commune, Ky Anh Town (Ha Tinh) said that they had just found the body of a woman drifting in the local sea. The victim was identified as Ms. PTL, a resident of Ky Thinh Commune (Ky Anh Town), who had been missing for 10 days.
Specifically, on the afternoon of March 26, Ms. L's body was found by a fishermen's boat in the waters of Ky Loi commune, about 12 nautical miles from shore.
Currently, the authorities are handing over the body to the family for funeral arrangements.

Previously, as VTC News reported, at around 12:00 on March 17, some fishermen were fishing in the waters of Ky Loi commune, about 5 nautical miles from shore, when they discovered a wooden boat drifting freely, with no one on board. Suspecting that a fisherman was in distress, the people reported it to the authorities.
According to initial verification, the wooden boat mentioned above belongs to Mr. DVT and Ms. PTL (residing in Ky Thinh commune).
On the afternoon of March 22, after 5 days of searching, the authorities of Ha Tinh province found DVT's body in the sea area of Son Duong island (Ky Loi commune, Ky Anh town), nearly 7 nautical miles from shore.
Also in March 2024, authorities in Quang Binh province found the body of a 45-year-old man after 7 days of missing while fishing.
The victim was Mr. THT (born in 1979, residing in Quang Phu commune, Quang Trach district).
On March 9, Mr. THT and another fisherman went out to sea in a small boat to fish. When they reached the Hon Gio area (Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district) to fish, they lost contact and both fishermen went missing.
On March 16, local fishermen discovered a body drifting into Than port area (Thanh Khe village, Thanh Trach commune, Bo Trach district). On March 18, Mr. T's body was found.
