Announcement of the merger decision and personnel work of Ha Tinh Newspaper

This morning, Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Decision of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on the merger of Ha Tinh Newspaper and Ha Tinh Radio and Television Station; and the Decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel work. Attending were Comrade Tran The Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Vo Trong Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Ha Van Hung, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Comrade Tran Van Ky, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Provincial leaders presented the decision to merge Ha Tinh Newspaper and Ha Tinh Radio and Television Station to the unit's leaders.

Handing over decisions on personnel work

The conference announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Committee on merging Ha Tinh Newspaper and Ha Tinh Radio and Television Station into Ha Tinh Newspaper. Accordingly, Ha Tinh Newspaper is a public service unit under the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, has legal status, seal, and is allowed to open accounts at the State Treasury and banks according to the provisions of law; has its head office at 22 Phan Dinh Phung, Ha Tinh city, and its second branch at 223 Nguyen Huy Tu, Ha Tinh city. Ha Tinh Newspaper officially came into operation from April 1, 2025. The conference also announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on appointing comrade Nghiem Sy Dong to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Ha Tinh Newspaper after the merger and Deputy Editors-in-Chief.

Comrade Tran The Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech assigning tasks to Ha Tinh newspaper.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Tran The Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the agency, the Party Committee of Ha Tinh Newspaper, Ha Tinh Radio and Television Station and the entire staff, civil servants and public employees of the agencies in the past time, who have always performed their functions well, excellently completed their assigned tasks, and made important contributions to the overall development of the province.

Emphasizing that the reorganization is an extremely necessary task to streamline the organizational apparatus, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Province suggested that after the merger, all cadres, civil servants and employees of Ha Tinh Newspaper need to grasp the major policies of the province and the Central Government to focus on propaganda, reflection and orientation of public opinion. Closely follow the situation and practice at the grassroots level, promptly reflect the difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing the reorganization of units and administrative apparatus at all levels; focus on completing the targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 19th Party Congress; as well as focusing on building documents for Party Congresses at all levels.

The comrade, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested that after the merger, Ha Tinh Newspaper needs to quickly stabilize its organization, arrange personnel, innovate its thinking, improve its methods of operation and propaganda content, promote the strengths of the two previous agencies in the field of propaganda, both maintaining its political and directional character and enhancing its attractiveness, creativity, practicality, and closeness to people's lives. Turn Ha Tinh Newspaper into a multimedia, key media agency with its own identity, with a team of professional, courageous, ethical, and creative journalists worthy of being the trusted voice of the Party Committee and the people of the province. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also emphasized that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee will continue to pay attention to leadership and direction, creating favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms and resources for Ha Tinh Newspaper to continue to develop./.
