On April 19, the Hanoi Youth Union announced the list of 10 outstanding young faces of the capital in 2023. Among them, there are 2 candidates in the field of study and research: Dr. Trinh Van Chien, lecturer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Dinh Cao Son, student at Hanoi University of Education.
Dr. Trinh Van Chien (born in 1989) is currently the Head of the Laboratory of Computer Network Research and New Generation Communication Technology, School of Information Technology and Communications (Hanoi University of Science and Technology). He has published 51 scientific articles, 3 book chapters in prestigious international publishers, 40 international conference papers; and won the European Union award for outstanding contributions to the 5G project.

This young lecturer also won the exemplary reviewer award of IEEE Wireless Communications Letters magazine (2016, 2017, 2021), the Golden Globe award in 2023.
Dinh Cao Son, a student at the University of Education, is a young man with excellent academic achievements. Previously, the male student from Ha Tinh won first prize in the national excellent student competition in Chemistry in the 2022-2023 school year; Gold medal at the 2023 International Chemistry Olympiad; "three good students" at the provincial and central levels in 2023; typical example in studying and creative work in the 2020-2023 period (Ha Tinh province); Second-class Labor Medal.
Most recently, Dinh Cao Son was voted by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union as one of the 10 outstanding young Vietnamese faces in 2023.
In the field of study and scientific research, there is also a master's degree - Resident Doctor Duong Thi Tra Giang (born in 1992), Department of Normal Delivery, Quality Management Department (Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital). Doctor Giang has 5 international publications published in 2021, 2022 and 2023 in journals in the ISI/SCOPUS system and has a high impact factor (IF–impact factor).
The female doctor also won first prize in the field of Medicine and Pharmacy at the 1st Hanoi Technical Innovation Contest (2022-2023), first prize in the 17th National Technical Innovation Contest (2022-2023); first prize with the initiative "Emergency trolley for postpartum bleeding" at the 30th Hanoi Medical Youth Technical Innovation Contest (2023).

This year, the Hanoi Youth Union received 34 candidate applications in the following fields: study, scientific research; creative labor, economic development; national defense and security; sports; culture - arts; volunteering for community life.
After the review process, the Award Selection Council (chaired by the Hanoi Youth Union, along with representatives of the Hanoi Department of Health, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the Hanoi Emulation and Reward Committee, the Hanoi Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee...) selected 18 outstanding profiles and continued to select the 10 most outstanding examples to receive the award.
It is expected that this year, the ceremony to honor 10 outstanding young faces of the Capital in 2023 will be held on May 11 within the framework of the "Capital Youth Festival".

7- Coach Tran Thi Thu Hoai (born 1993), Coach of Sepak Takraw Department, Hanoi Sports Training and Competition Center.
8- Captain Nguyen Dinh Chieu (born in 1989), police officer of Xuan Tao ward, Bac Tu Liem district.
9- Nguyen Quoc Hoang Anh (born 1990), multimedia artist; art curator; Founder of the project "Up to the mountains".
