Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the development potential of Chu Lai airport and expressed his wish that Adani Group and Vietnamese partners would join hands to invest and build Chu Lai airport into a modern international aviation center, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the Central region.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister introduced to Adani Group Chairman - Mr. Gautam Adani about the orientation of developing Chu Lai airport into an international air transit center, with an important strategic position in Vietnam and the region. With a favorable geographical location and convenient traffic connections, Chu Lai airport can become an important air transit center, especially flights to and from countries in the Asian region, including India and China.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the Vietnamese Government will create all favorable conditions for investors, including the Adani Group, to invest in Chu Lai airport.
Adani is known to be India's largest corporation specializing in infrastructure and energy; owns 14 of the largest private seaports in India, accounting for 25% of India's seaport capacity and 7 airports in the country; and is India's largest energy corporation.
In 2023, the group's revenue will reach about 33 billion USD, profit will reach about 2.9 billion USD with 29,000 employees worldwide. At the end of 2023, Mr. Gautum Adani is the 15th richest billionaire in the world with 82.5 billion USD, and the second richest person in India and Asia.
