According to ComicBook , at the Silent Hill Transmission event that took place in October last year, the Silent Hill horror game fan community received good news when publisher Konami revealed that a remake of Silent Hill 2 was in production.
However, since then, neither developer Bloober Team nor Konami have mentioned any further details about the game, other than saying that the title will launch first on PC and PlayStation 5 and operate exclusively on those platforms for 1 year.
Recently, there was an interesting piece of information revealed by the game's voice actor, hinting at the potential release date of Silent Hill 2 Remake.
The news was discovered by Game Rant, and it concerns actor Luke Roberts, who voices James Sutherland in the remake. During a Q&A session, Roberts was asked, "When is Silent Hill 2 coming out?", to which he replied, "Early next year, I believe." This statement suggests that Silent Hill 2 Remake will be available to players in the spring of 2024.
Before Luke Roberts revealed the release date, Silent Hill 2 Remake was hinted by an Australian game distributor to be released on September 29.
Regardless, with the constant leaks surrounding the Silent Hill 2 remake, the game's release date probably isn't too far away. Fans should continue to wait patiently for an official announcement from Konami.
