The player born in 2001 has improved a lot over the past year, especially shining in the V-League 2024 - 2025 with 3 goals and 2 assists. Notably, the No. 10 midfielder of Binh Duong Club has strong fighting ability, along with an intelligent and sharp playing style. In this training session, he is eager to contribute and show himself, so he promises to be a new and formidable factor.

Tien Linh will have the opportunity to shine at home in Binh Duong in the Vietnamese national team jersey.

If Minh Khoa is a ripe fruit, Pham Ly Duc is proof of the saying "right team, right time" in his first call-up to the Vietnam national team. After 14 matches for Ba Ria-Vung Tau Club in the 2023-2024 first division, he joined HAGL at the beginning of this season and immediately became a mainstay with 100% of his appearances in the V-League and National Cup. This young player's presence in the national team also helps him accumulate battle experience to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand at the end of the year. His teammate, Tran Bao Toan, who trained in Korea before leaving the team on the eve of the 2024 AFF Cup, was also given the opportunity this time, along with Nguyen Thai Son and Trieu Viet Hung. In addition, goalkeeper Nguyen Van Viet also returned to the Vietnam national team under Mr. Kim.

The Vietnamese team is expected to gather on March 11 in Binh Duong, have a friendly match with the Cambodian team (March 19) before opening the third qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup by hosting Laos (March 25). The match with Cambodia will be notable because it is the first appearance of the Vietnamese team after winning the Southeast Asian championship. Cambodia's squad of naturalized players from Africa, South America and Japan promises to create interesting challenges for coach Kim Sang-sik and his team.

Mr. Kim will consider this training session as an opportunity to re-evaluate his players, especially their spirit and desire to contribute. In fact, during the past time, Mr. Kim and his assistants have continuously traveled to many football fields to find new factors and evaluate the current performance of the pillars. Mr. Kim does not consider the 2024 AFF Cup championship as the pinnacle but only the beginning of a new cycle. The Korean coach is quite satisfied that the players who won the 2024 AFF Cup such as Quang Hai, goalkeeper Dinh Trieu, Bui Hoang Viet Anh, Van Thanh, Duy Manh, Quang Hai, Tien Linh, Tuan Hai, Hoang Duc... still have the desire to contribute to the national team.

Dinh Bac and Le Viktor join U.22 Vietnam

Striker Dinh Bac and overseas Vietnamese midfielder Le Viktor are notable names in the list of 27 players called up to the U.22 Vietnam team to gather at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center from March 10. Assistant Dinh Hong Vinh was given the role of interim coach by Mr. Kim to lead the U.22 Vietnam team to prepare for the international quadrennial tournament from March 20-25 in Jiangsu with opponents Uzbekistan, South Korea and host China.
