I think the exam questions from yesterday until now have been very suitable, especially the Literature exam. I liked the Literature exam the most because I found it interesting. If I had more time, I would have written even more.”

"Because the Literature exam on the theme of 'The Country' has so much to praise, but the time allotted was too short. The same goes for the reading comprehension section. In general, I liked every single question in the Literature exam," Kim Tuyen shared.

According to Kim Tuyen, after completing the exam, she felt that her study time was worthwhile, because this year's questions were mostly based on the fundamentals of the curriculum.

In the Math exam, questions 1 to 25 were easy, while questions 25-30 were slightly more difficult. Questions 30-50 required more reasoning. Kim Tuyen hasn't dared to check her score since yesterday, but she's sure it will be above 5 points.

"I think I'll get accepted into my first choice , Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry. Because I've already set a goal for myself, and I'll just keep striving towards that goal," Kim Tuyen said.

According to Kim Tuyen, this year the Ministry of Education and Training set the exam questions not too difficult, and there was a high degree of differentiation. Kim Tuyen hopes that the admission scores for universities will not be too high so that all students will be able to get into their desired programs.

“I was most impressed by the Math exam, and the Literature exam as well. For Math, I studied the material several times, but there were still some difficult and interesting questions. I did okay on Literature; I guessed a bit too much. The social science subjects were easy; if you memorize and think critically, you'll be fine,” Thành Thắng added.

According to many teachers in Ho Chi Minh City, the high school graduation exam this year was generally of appropriate difficulty, with sufficient differentiation for university admissions, especially in Mathematics.

Commenting on the Math exam, Master Le Thanh Phuc, Head of the Math Department at Bui Thi Xuan High School, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, said: The 2024 Math exam is very stable in structure compared to recent years, quite similar to the 2024 sample exam and the 2023 official exam of the Ministry of Education and Training in terms of difficulty and classification.

This year's math exam had few unusual questions, but there were some difficult and very difficult ones. The differentiation in the exam started with question number 40. Average students could easily score 6-7 points on it.

From question 45 onwards, the questions are difficult, and from question 48 onwards, they are very difficult; these are truly questions for high-achieving students. Specifically (Exam Code 105): A score of 6.6-7.6 will be very common, corresponding to the first 38 questions which are very basic and suitable for graduation assessment; to achieve a score of 7.8-8.6, students need to have a fairly good academic ability.

To achieve a score of 8.8-10, the questions are challenging, including high-level application questions that require students to be truly excellent and have practiced extensively. Some questions are also quite unfamiliar to students, requiring them to flexibly apply knowledge from various subject areas to solve them.

For students aiming for scores between 9.6 and 10, it will be extremely difficult, making it suitable for university admissions. A score of 7.6 is predicted to be very common, and achieving a perfect 10 will be very challenging.

Commenting on the Physics exam, Mr. Bui Manh Tan, Head of the Physics Department at Bui Thi Xuan High School, said that the structure of this year's exam still follows the spirit, structure, and level of differentiation of the 2023 exam. The questions are arranged from easy to difficult, mainly focusing on knowledge from grade 12. This year, only 2 theoretical questions from the grade 11 curriculum were included, and there were no exercises.

In terms of content and difficulty level, questions 1 to 32 are easy, and above-average students can easily complete them. From questions 33 to 35, the difficulty level increases, and above-average and excellent students can solve them within their capabilities.

Meanwhile, questions 36 to 40 are five high-level application questions, covering five topics: spring pendulum, mechanical wave interference, light wave interference, alternating current, and nuclear physics. The predicted score range for Physics will be most concentrated between 7.5 and 9 points.
