Innovating to break through, to realize the above goal, the campaign to promote the specialty "Thanh Hoa OCOP Fair" was deployed from November 16 to 18, 2023 with the coordination of Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union, Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Center for Agricultural Trade Promotion - Agritrade - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and TikTok Vietnam.
Thanh Hoa province currently has 442 OCOP products of 3 stars or higher, including 1 5-star product and 3 "potential" 5-star products. Promoting digital transformation, applying information technology and building smart new rural areas associated with the OCOP Program is one of the key tasks that Thanh Hoa province has set out in the National Target Program on new rural construction in the province for the period 2021 - 2025.

To kick off the campaign, content creators participating in the program took a tour to experience local tourist destinations and OCOP product manufacturing facilities in Thanh Hoa province.
In addition to visiting local tourist attractions, on November 17, content creators also experienced some typical production facilities in Thanh Hoa such as: Thao Ngoc Viet Joint Stock Company, Nem chua Ba Lan, FUWA Biotech Biotechnology Company Limited...
On November 18, local OCOP entities and youth union members of Thanh Hoa province participated in a training program to enhance skills in selling OCOP products through digital means to rural youth.
Here, experts provided information and knowledge about online business and building business brands on digital platforms through TikTok For Business tools.
In parallel with the training program, the OCOP Market livestream activity was organized to promote Thanh Hoa OCOP agricultural specialties to the public. The 4-hour livestream "Thanh Hoa OCOP Market" on November 18 attracted more than 375,000 viewers, bringing in 205 million VND in revenue and 1,000 OCOP orders.

The products promoted in the livestream came from 9 typical entities with nearly 29 Thanh Hoa agricultural specialties of all kinds such as: Ba Lan sour sausage, Ban Tho Cooperative, Luu Suong Trading Company Limited, Fuwa Biotech Biotechnology Company Limited, Thao Ngoc Viet Joint Stock Company, Cu Nham Fish Sauce Company Limited, Thanh Son Bird's Nest Production and Trading Company Limited, Trieu Son Medicinal Materials Joint Stock Company, Van Hoa Joint Stock Company.
Through promotional support from prominent content creators on the TikTok platform such as: Hung Rom, Co Dong Nat... Hashtag #OCOPThanhHoa also brought in more than 6 million views after just 1 day of launching on TikTok.
As one of the subjects with products participating in the livestream session, Ms. Nguyen Le Ngoc Linh - representative of Ban Tho Cooperative - said, with products from fermented honey achieving 4-star OCOP in Thanh Hoa province, I feel extremely moved and happy that the first livestream "exploded" orders.
"For someone who appeared on TikTok for the first time and received such a good response, I feel very happy. Through this, I also clearly see the spreading effect of the OCOP Market program. In particular, the two KOC Hung Rom and Co Dong Nat have created conditions for local agricultural products and OCOP products to spread to a large number of people nationwide. And after this event, it also motivated us to continue learning about online business and doing business on TikTok shop" , Ms. Nguyen Le Ngoc Linh shared.

In parallel with the above activities, the seminar program on digital transformation in OCOP product promotion communication for young people with the theme "Exploiting the potential of digital economy in developing, promoting and consuming OCOP products" organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in coordination with Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union, took place on the afternoon of November 18.
The seminar is an opportunity for entities, businesses, and people to discuss necessary content to develop and consume agricultural products on digital platforms, orient thinking and exploit the potential of the digital economy to improve the effectiveness of promoting OCOP products.
At the Seminar, delegates focused on discussing the exploitation of digital economic potential in developing, promoting and consuming OCOP products; digital economy from the perspective of e-commerce; promoting indigenous resources in digital space.
These are important issues and very specific solutions to achieve the goals of innovation in agricultural economic development and sustainable new rural construction.
Digital transformation has a positive impact on the consumption of OCOP products nationwide; thereby, creating motivation for entities to expand production scale and improve product quality. Once the production line meets the demand for both quantity and quality, business households will quickly increase their competitiveness, expand the market, increase revenue and improve the lives of rural people.
According to the national target program on new rural construction for the 2021-2025 period, TikTok, as a strategic partner, has continuously launched new initiatives to promote rural trade, creating momentum for restructuring the agricultural sector associated with building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas.
