Thanh Hoa has a new Director of the Department of Finance

(NLDO) - The Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just signed a decision to receive and appoint the new Director of the Department of Finance of Thanh Hoa province.

On March 7, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan signed Decision No. 729 on receiving and appointing Mr. Le Quang Hung, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Finance of Thanh Hoa province.

According to this decision, the appointment period is 5 years and takes effect from March 7, 2025.

Thus, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Finance has a director after 11 days of vacancy since the merger of the two departments including the Department of Finance and the Department of Planning and Investment.

Previously, on February 26, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province announced the resolution to merge departments, establish 6 new departments and decisions on transfer and appointment of leaders after the merger.

In the decisions on transfer and appointment, the Department of Finance has 8 deputy directors including Mr. Nguyen Van Tu, Le Minh Nghia, Le Van Tien, Luong Tien Thanh, Pham Viet Bac, Nguyen Hai Duc, Nguyen Duc Thinh, and Truong Trong Tuan.

In particular, the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned Mr. Le Minh Nghia, Deputy Director, to be in charge of the Department of Finance until the position of Director of the Department of Finance is completed.

Thus, after Mr. Le Quang Hung was appointed as director, the Board of Directors of Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Finance has 9 people (1 director and 8 deputy directors).

Mr. Le Quang Hung was born in 1971, hometown Thieu Giao commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province. Education: Bachelor of Industrial Economics, Master of Business Administration. Bachelor of Political Theory.

He is currently a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council. On March 7, 2025, he was appointed Director of the Department of Finance of Thanh Hoa province.
