Thai Binh: Connecting 207 points of connection to research, study and disseminate Resolution of the 8th Central Conference (term XIII)

On December 4, the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat held a national conference to study and disseminate the Resolution of the 8th Conference of the Central Party Committee (13th tenure) in both direct and online formats at 16,242 points nationwide with over 1.4 million cadres and party members participating in the study.

In Thai Binh, the conference was connected to 207 points in the whole province, including 15 points at provincial and district levels; 192 points at grassroots level with over 21,300 delegates participating in research and study. Attending the conference at the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee headquarters were comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation of the province; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and organizations of the province.

Through the national online conference to study, learn and thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the 8th Conference, the Party Central Committee (13th tenure) helps cadres and party members grasp the core content and new points in the resolutions. On that basis, Party committees at all levels lead and direct the development of action programs to organize the implementation of the resolutions; at the same time, widely propagate throughout the Party, the entire people and the entire army, creating unity of will and action in the process of implementing the resolutions, so that the resolutions soon come into life, achieving practical results; thereby contributing to the successful implementation of the goals set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

As planned, the conference will take place in 1.5 days (December 4-5), including 1 day for research, study, and dissemination and 1/2 day for provincial, municipal Party Committees and Party Committees directly under the Central Committee to discuss the draft action program to implement the resolution.

The conference listened to Comrade Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member, President of the State, presenting the topic "Continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country to be more and more prosperous and happy"; Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Prime Minister, presenting the topic "Continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new period".

In the afternoon, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member and Minister of National Defense, delivered a speech on “Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation”; Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Propaganda Department, delivered a speech on “Continuing to build and promote the role of the intellectual team to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period”.
