Manchester Evening News gave coach Erik ten Hag the lowest rating and goalkeeper Andre Onana the highest when Man Utd lost 0-3 to Man City in round 10 of the Premier League.
The Manchester Evening News is a regional daily newspaper covering Greater Manchester in the North West of England, founded in 1868.
According to this newspaper, Ten Hag made a mistake when he started Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof against Man City. Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw were injured, but Man Utd still had Raphael Varane and Sergio Reguilon on the bench. Of which, Varane sat out the whole match, while Reguilon replaced Lindelof in the 73rd minute.
Ten Hag's other changes, including Mason Mount, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Anthony Martial in the second half, also did not leave much of an impression. Therefore, the Manchester Evening News gave Ten Hag 2 points - the lowest on the Man Utd side.
Similarly, Jonny Evans also received a score of 2. According to the newspaper, the 35-year-old centre-back failed to live up to expectations when he unexpectedly took Varane's starting position, was constantly overwhelmed in the penalty area and played "sleepy" in the third goal.

The remaining Man Utd member who received 2 points was Marcus Rashford. The English striker's most memorable moment was when he entered the penalty area, chested the ball and shot wide of the far post in the 70th minute. He continued his goalless streak and has only scored one goal in 13 matches since the beginning of the season. Many fans at Old Trafford even welcomed Rashford's substitution for Martial in the 86th minute.
Harry Maguire, Lindelof, Amrabat and substitute Mount received 3 points, captain Bruno Fernandes, Christian Eriksen, Antony received 4 points, Scott McTominay, Rasmus Hojlund, Sergio Reguilon, Alejandro Garnacho received 5 points, and Anthony Martial received no points.
Andre Onana, despite having to pick the ball out of the net three times, was given the highest rating of 7. The Cameroon goalkeeper made seven saves, including two close-range headers and a lob against Erling Haaland.
On Man City's side, Bernardo Silva received the highest score with 9 points. The Portuguese midfielder crossed the ball to assist Haaland's second goal, and was also voted the best player of the match.
Haaland, despite scoring twice and assisting Foden's winning goal, was only given 8 points, equal to Jack Grealish, Rodri, John Stones and goalkeeper Ederson. Julian Alvarez, Phil Foden, Ruben Dias, Kyle Walker received 7 points, while Josko Gvardiol had the lowest score with 6 points.
Manchester Evening News did not rate substitutes Jeremy Doku, Mateo Kovacic and manager Pep Guardiola.
At Old Trafford on October 29, Man City dominated possession with 61% of the ball, had 21 shots with 10 on target - compared to 7 and 3 for their opponents, and won 3-0 thanks to a brace from Erling Haaland and a goal from Phil Foden. However, coach Ten Hag believes his team deserved a better result, having started well and Man Utd only suffered a disadvantage after a controversial penalty in the 26th minute, after VAR determined that Rasmus Hojlund had pulled Rodri in the penalty area.
