Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, assessed that the efforts of both sides in the 2019-2022 period have created many practical results, helping both sides better perform their political tasks and have created positive changes in the digital transformation of Youth Union activities.
Specifically, with great determination, the coordination activities between the two units have been regularly deployed, increasingly going into depth in 3 major areas of work and achieving many outstanding results. The two units have closely coordinated to build software and applications, contributing to improving the digital transformation capacity of the Union's activities. In particular, the "Vietnamese Youth" application has truly created innovations in the operation, management of union members, and communication to more than 22 million union members and youth across the country. More than 200 news items/day were posted, more than 20 online contests were successfully organized and more than 300 programs of the Union chapters were broadcast live on the Vietnamese Youth Application platform.
In addition, in order to digitize union member management operations, replace manual operations, and help identify union members accurately, VNPT Group and the Central Youth Union have coordinated to build and deploy the software for union member management operations integrated with the Vietnam Youth Application. Currently, on the software system, there are 5,331,446 union member data out of a total of 5,861,446 union members nationwide associated with 12 union member management operations that are interacted with and used.
In particular, in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic since the end of 2019, the use of the VNPT-iOffice document management and administration system is extremely important in the administration and management work at the Central Youth Union; meeting the document processing process, gradually replacing the paper document system, saving time and costs, digitizing documents to help access and look up more professionally; More than 3.5 million innovative ideas have been contributed through the Vietnam Youth Creative Idea Bank Portal.
Not only closely coordinating in promoting digital transformation activities in the Youth Union, many social security activities have been effectively implemented by the Central Youth Union and VNPT Group such as coordinating communication organization, supporting people to declare health via the Ncovi application to contribute to controlling and repelling the Covid-19 epidemic, the Thankyou program, Vietnam has created a fund of 5 billion VND to build 60 charity houses for families in difficult circumstances...
These results are an important premise for the Central Youth Union to continue choosing VNPT to sign a cooperation agreement for the 2023-2027 period and deploy simultaneous signing in 63 provinces and cities across the country.
“ The most important result of the 4 years of cooperation is to build trust between the two sides to continue to cooperate. In the coming period, the Central Youth Union considers digital transformation an important task and a step to create a breakthrough in the next term. I believe that with the strength of VNPT Group in digital transformation, the efforts of both sides, the cooperation content in the coming period will achieve many practical results, creating a breakthrough in digital transformation and the Youth Union of the whole country will be the leading factor in digital transformation”, affirmed Comrade Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union.
According to the cooperation content, the two sides will jointly survey and develop a "Project to improve the digital transformation capacity of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union" including comprehensive solutions on digitalization and digital transformation of the Central Youth Union's leadership and guidance activities and implementation in provincial, municipal and affiliated youth unions such as: infrastructure, information technology (IT) applications to serve the smooth management and operation from the Central to local levels, public service units under the Central Youth Union (Eoffice document management system, software for managing union member work, ...) and solutions to ensure safety, network security, information security; Coordinate support, organize assessments, and propagate to raise awareness of digital transformation; accompany the Central Youth Union's major action plans and programs and be suitable for VNPT's priority areas in each specific period.
The two sides will coordinate to deploy the platform for the digital ecosystem (TNVN Application); Build an environment for organizations, businesses and individuals to participate in developing the ecosystem to improve the material and spiritual life of Union members; Build incentive programs for VNPT products and services to put on the ecosystem (VNPT Money, SIM/mobile packages, MyTV, VAT services, Home Combo packages...); Brand communication; Produce, organize and broadcast competitions, sports and cultural events organized and co-organized by the Central Youth Union on VNPT platforms.
Also at the ceremony, Comrade To Dung Thai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNPT Group, said that in order for the cooperation between the Central Youth Union and VNPT Group in the next 5 years to be substantive and highly effective, the two sides will immediately start implementing the contents with specific plans and programs. "The two sides will promote their strengths, with determination and efforts to cooperate to go further in the coming time, creating a breakthrough in digital transformation of Youth Union activities," Comrade To Dung Thai emphasized.
