Vietnam Textile and Garment Group prepares to produce first order of fire-resistant fabric

According to information from the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group, at the inspection, Mr. Pham Xuan Trinh - CEO of the Group, Director of the Fireproof Fabric Project Management Board said: Currently, the preparation work for the system assessment has basically been completed. The test assessment results on July 16 showed that the project achieved 121 out of 134 criteria required by the partner Coats (equivalent to 92%).

Immediately after the trial assessment, the Fireproof Fabric Project Management Board and Nam Dinh Textile and Garment Corporation continued to supplement and improve the 13 criteria that were not met according to the consultant's instructions. At the same time, they prepared for the official assessment on August 6, 2024.

In addition, on August 4, 2024, Coats Group experts will come to work with the Fire Resistant Fabric Project Management Board to provide technical guidance for production from the fiber - weaving - dyeing stages to prepare for orders in the last 5 months of the year.

The Group's leaders highly appreciated the performance of the fire-resistant fabric project, the test evaluation results were very positive. The leaders of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group requested the Fire-Resistant Fabric Project Management Board to continue to improve according to the recommendations of the consultants, striving to achieve over 80 points in the official evaluation. The project is currently on track, the apparatus is operating smoothly and effectively.

The group's leaders also requested the Fireproof Fabric Project Management Board to make every effort to complete the production of orders in the last months of 2024 as committed to the partner. At the same time, review the demand for human resources, investment in machinery and equipment for production as well as other problems to proactively report to the group for consideration and support.
