Within the framework of the International Exhibition on Textile & Garment Industry - Equipment, Raw Materials & Fabrics 2024 (HanoiTex & HanoiFabric 2024), on October 23, Vietnam Textile and Garment Group and Hanoi University of Industry (HTU) organized the Workshop "Vietnam Textile and Garment Industry: Vision 2045 - Where green growth meets productivity".

At the Workshop, leading experts in the textile and garment industry will focus on exchanging and discussing 3 contents including: Vietnam's textile and garment industry in the trend of green growth and global technology: Technical requirements to increase competitiveness presented by Dr. Nong Ngoc Duy - Senior Research Scientist, Team Leader - CSIRO, Griffith University, Australia; AI application in the textile and garment industry and its impact on productivity and efficiency presented by Dr. Nguyen Phi Le - Director of the International Research Institute on AI - Hanoi University of Science and Technology; Energy efficiency in the textile and garment industry presented by Dr. Mai Sy Thanh, University of Electricity. Also within the framework of the exhibition, Dr. Hoang Xuan Hiep - President of HTU and speakers will have exchanges, discussions and Q&A around the contents of the Workshop with guests.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Association also organized the ESG Workshop: Green Transformation of the Textile and Garment Industry - Challenges and Opportunities.
