On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Customs Magazine Vu Thi Anh Hong said: The 2023 Customs-Business Forum with the theme "Vietnam Customs creates new momentum for businesses to recover and break through" is a practical activity to review the overall picture that the Customs sector has been implementing, assess the advantages and difficulties as well as discuss and propose solutions for implementation in the coming time to achieve more efficiency.

Customs Magazine believes that the exchanges, dialogues, ideas, and suggestions at the Forum will be useful for the Customs agency as well as state management agencies to perfect the legal framework and policies to support businesses.

According to Ms. Vu Thi Anh Hong, the forum revolves around 2 sessions: Session 1: "Customs strives to reform and facilitate trade". Perfecting policy institutions, reforming administrative procedures, facilitating trade to create new momentum for businesses to recover and make breakthroughs; building information technology solutions to support state management requirements for exported and imported goods, means of transport exiting and entering the country, towards digital Customs, smart Customs. Acknowledging the participation and contributions of specialized management agencies and business associations to perfect the law.
Session 2: “Joining hands to build a culture of compliance with customs laws”. Evaluation and improvement of policies on Priority Enterprises, enhancement of responsibilities and rights of Priority Enterprises, mutual recognition domestically and internationally... Evaluation of the “Pilot program to support and encourage enterprises to voluntarily comply with customs laws”.
