Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security and the leadership of the Provincial Police Department, the Traffic Police Department, the patrol and mobile task force 1455 has increased patrols and controls on National Highway 70, especially the area from Ban Phiet commune to Phong Hai farm town (Bao Thang).
During the patrol, the authorities discovered and strictly handled violations that were the direct causes of traffic accidents such as: Driving without a driver's license, not wearing a helmet, carrying more people than the prescribed number, driving after drinking alcohol, weaving, illegal racing, etc.
On June 25 alone, on National Highway 70, in the Phong Hai town area (Bao Thang), the working group recorded 68 cases, temporarily detained 34 motorbikes, and recorded 20 underage children without a driver's license; the total fine for violations was nearly 90 million VND.
Previously, on June 10, Task Force 1455 conducted a patrol and handled juvenile offenders at the Bac Ngam intersection (Xuan Quang commune). Through patrolling, they discovered and recorded 34 cases, temporarily seized 11 motorbikes, 12 driving licenses, and signed commitments with 11 cases who were parents of minor offenders.
In the coming time, the Traffic Police Department will continue to coordinate with professional departments and police of communes in the area to increase patrols and controls along National Highway 70 to detect and strictly handle violations of the Road Traffic Law.
