The family of Ms. Ly Ta May, in Na Nam village, Ban Qua commune, is a household in particularly difficult circumstances. The circulation of storm No. 3 (September 2024) has seriously degraded the thatched house. It leaks on rainy days, and the cold wind blows in winter, making it very difficult for the family.

In addition to calling on philanthropists and businesses to join hands with the Border Guard Station to support her family, the Border Guard Station Commander also sent officers and soldiers to participate in labor days to reduce expenses for the family.

Ms. Ly Ta May shared: “I am very happy that the local government, officers and soldiers of Bat Xat Border Post, and young people in the commune came to help build the house. My family no longer has to endure the sun and rain. Once the house is completed, we can focus on making a living and raising our children.”

“Currently, we are continuing to coordinate with the locality, mobilizing resources to eliminate temporary houses according to the set plan. The Party Committee and Command of Bat Xat Border Guard Station consider this both a political task and an “order from the heart” of the green-uniformed soldiers for people facing housing difficulties in the border area,” Lieutenant Colonel Pham Hong Thi shared.
