(NLDO) - The Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police has completed training on issuing and exchanging driver's licenses for commune-level police.

On March 15, a representative of the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that they will organize the reception of applications for changing and re-issuing driver's licenses at 22 locations in wards, communes and towns in Ho Chi Minh City from March 17.
Police officers are training people to exchange and issue driving licenses.
According to PC08, as of March 14, PC08 has received 6,859 applications for direct driver's license renewal and re-issuance and 2,514 applications registered via Public Service 4.
To facilitate people in issuing and exchanging driving licenses, saving time, travel costs and waiting, from March 17, Ho Chi Minh City Police will officially expand the work of issuing and exchanging driving licenses at the Police of 17 wards in districts, Thu Duc City where motorbike registration is being carried out and the Police of 5 central communes in Binh Chanh, Can Gio, Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Nha Be districts.
Previously, PC08 also completed training on issuing and exchanging driving licenses for commune-level police on March 14.
Thus, Ho Chi Minh City Police have 25 points to receive applications for changing and re-issuing driving licenses, including 22 points at commune-level police stations and 3 points at: No. 252 Ly Chinh Thang, Ward 9 (District 3); No. 8 Nguyen Anh Thu, Trung My Tay Ward (District 12); No. 111 Tan Son Nhi, Tan Son Nhi Ward (Tan Phu District).
Working hours: Monday to Friday (7:30 - 11:30; 13:30 - 17:00) and Saturday (7:30 - 11:30).
When there is a need to change or reissue a driver's license, people can choose to submit their application via the National Public Service Portal or go to the above-mentioned locations for processing.
