(NLDO) - In Ho Chi Minh City, there are currently 25 points receiving applications for changing and re-issuing driving licenses.
On March 17, Ho Chi Minh City Police officially started issuing and exchanging driver's licenses at police headquarters in 17 wards of districts, Thu Duc City and 5 central communes and towns of Binh Chanh, Can Gio, Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, and Nha Be districts.
People come to Binh Tho Ward Police, Thu Duc City to issue and change driver's licenses.
According to records at the Binh Tho Ward Police Station (Thu Duc City), many people came to submit their applications for issuance and renewal of driver's licenses. Here, people were guided through the procedures at the information desk.
Mr. Minh Quan (residing in Thu Duc City) said the procedure was very quick and easy, taking only about 10 minutes. At the same time, the fee can be paid by bank transfer, helping to save time.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Bich Nguyet, Deputy Head of Binh Tho Ward Police, said that on the first day of receiving applications for issuing and exchanging driver's licenses, many people came to the police headquarters early in the morning to complete the procedures.
Binh Tho Ward Police is the point of receiving procedures for granting and exchanging driver's licenses for people in wards in Thu Duc City.
Before taking on this task, Binh Tho Ward Police were trained by the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police and implemented regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
For the convenience of the people, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Bich Nguyet noted that there are two forms of issuing and exchanging driving licenses: online via the National Public Service Portal and directly at the reception points. At the same time, people are encouraged to prioritize using online public services.
People are enthusiastically guided by the authorities.
To date, Ho Chi Minh City Police have 25 points for receiving applications for changing and reissuing driving licenses, including 22 points at commune-level police stations and 3 points at: 252 Ly Chinh Thang, Ward 9 (District 3); 8 Nguyen Anh Thu, Trung My Tay Ward (District 12); 111 Tan Son Nhi, Tan Son Nhi Ward (Tan Phu District).
Working hours: Monday to Friday (7:30 am - 11:30 am; 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm) and Saturday (7:30 am - 11:30 am).
When there is a need to change or reissue a driver's license, people can choose to submit their application via the National Public Service Portal or go to the above-mentioned locations for processing.
