Ho Chi Minh City adds 22 locations for issuing and renewing driver's licenses.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - To facilitate convenience for citizens, from March 17th, Ho Chi Minh City officially added 22 locations for receiving applications for issuing and renewing driver's licenses.

On March 15th, a representative from the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of the Ho Chi Minh City Police announced that, as of March 14th, PC08 had received over 6,800 applications for driver's license issuance and renewal in person, and over 2,500 applications online.

To facilitate the process for citizens, starting March 17th, the Ho Chi Minh City Police will officially begin issuing and renewing driver's licenses at police stations in 17 wards across districts, Thu Duc City, and 5 central communes and towns in Binh Chanh, Can Gio, Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, and Nha Be districts.

Previously, PC08 completed the training on issuing and renewing driver's licenses for commune-level police officers on March 14th.

To date, Ho Chi Minh City has 25 locations for receiving applications for driver's license issuance and renewal, including the 22 mentioned above and 3 locations at 252 Ly Chinh Thang Street, Ward 9, District 3; 8 Nguyen Anh Thu Street, Trung My Tay Ward, District 12; and 111 Tan Son Nhi Street, Tan Son Nhi Ward, Tan Phu District. Working hours are Monday to Friday (morning: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM, afternoon: 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM) and Saturday (7:30 AM - 11:30 AM).

Citizens who need to apply for or renew a driver's license can submit their application through the National Public Service Portal or go to the aforementioned locations for processing.
