Try your best to help anyone you can.
The joyful and excited face was clearly shown on the face of Ly H'Hanh, grade 3, N'Trang Long Primary School, Nghia Tan Ward (Gia Nghia) when she just received her dream bicycle along with a new school bag to prepare for the new school year. H'Hanh said: "My house is more than 3 km from school, so every time I go to school, I have to go more than 30 minutes in advance. During the rainy season, I have to go earlier, so I always dreamed of having a bicycle to go to school, but my family's financial difficulties have not allowed me to do so. Today, I am very happy to receive a bicycle to go to school. I thank you very much."
H'Hanh - one of 10 students in difficult circumstances received a gift of a bicycle and a new school bag from teacher Van who called on benefactors in Saigon to donate. Along with the call for bicycles, at the beginning of each school year, Ms. Van and the group "Charity Arms" called for support of clothes, school bags, books, and pens for disadvantaged students.
In addition, during the time of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, Ms. Van has raised more than 100 million VND and many necessities to support people in need. Ms. Van shared: “I have participated in volunteer activities since my university years. I always think that if I can help someone, I will try my best. Every time I do something meaningful, I feel very happy.”
Close to and encouraging students
In teaching, Ms. Van always tries to research, create, and apply appropriate methods to promote the positivity and initiative of students. During the teaching process, Ms. Van has created many effective teaching methods, which are applied throughout the school. A typical example is the initiative "Improving teaching quality by enhancing connection with parents via Zalo".
On the other hand, due to the dry nature of the subject, Ms. Van has applied new teaching methods, increased practical activities, and both learning and playing to inspire students to learn. In most of her lessons, she organizes games, with small gifts to encourage students to strive.
In addition, Ms. Van also advised the school's Board of Directors to increase the organization of extracurricular activities such as competitions, English speaking contests, etc. Ms. Van shared: "The encouragement and motivation of teachers is very important to help students strive and progress. I am always close, so that students see me as a friend. From there, I can listen, understand, support, and help them progress more."
Ms. Pham Thi Dung, Principal of Le Hong Phong Primary School, shared, “Ms. Van is a sociable, energetic, positive, and enthusiastic person in all school and volunteer activities. Many disadvantaged students have been called upon and mobilized by Ms. Van for timely support.
