The growing demand for flexibility, productivity and storage efficiency across all sectors has opened up a vibrant race for IT infrastructure among cloud computing service providers in Vietnam.
The data center (TTDL) and cloud computing market in Vietnam is attracting large investments from many domestic and foreign enterprises. When Decree 53/2022/ND-CP of the Government on data localization comes into effect for foreign enterprises, Vietnamese technology enterprises are increasingly promoting the investment process in TTDL.
According to a report by Research and Markets, the size of the Vietnam TTDL market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 10.68% during the period 2022-2028, expected to reach 1.037 billion USD by 2028.

In Vietnam today, the development of data centers and cloud computing applications is one of the focuses of digital transformation, in line with the strategy of developing the digital economy and building a digital nation. There are currently 39 data centers nationwide, distributed in many different regions.
Leading technology enterprises in Vietnam such as VNPT, Viettel, CMC, FPT... have recently focused on investing in and developing modern, large-scale data centers that meet international standards and provide world-class services. Notably, 2022 can be considered a year of strong explosion in the Vietnamese data center market with a series of new data centers opened by major suppliers such as CMC, Viettel and VNG.
Not only attracting domestic businesses, the Vietnamese market has also attracted great investment interest from foreign businesses. Australia Edge Centres has expanded into Asia by collaborating with Vietnam National University to deploy its first data center, EC51, in Ho Chi Minh City. The company is also planning an additional facility in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
GAW Capital (Hong Kong) has acquired a green land plot in Saigon Hi-Tech Park in Ho Chi Minh City to invest in a new data center expected to be over 18,000 square meters wide. Japan's NTT Global Data Centres Group and Vietnamese company Quang Dung Technology (QD.Tek) have jointly developed a new data center located in Saigon Hi-Tech Park, expected to be operational in 2024.

VNPT IDC Hoa Lac provides an unlimited number of static IPs, gateways with high bandwidth to the Internet from hundreds to thousands of Mbps. Customers can optionally configure the server, actively manage remotely or directly without limitation.
