Students from 10 universities compete to perform Korean literary plays in Vietnamese

The 2025 Korean Literature Drama Competition organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam in coordination with universities in Hanoi will take place on March 22 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The contest received the participation of 150 students from 10 universities, including Hanoi University of Industry, Dai Nam University, Hanoi University, Hanoi National University, Thang Long University, Diplomatic Academy... The teams will recreate impressive skits in diverse literary works from ancient to modern Korean literature such as: Dangun Myth, Red Bean Porridge Old Lady and the Tiger, When Buckwheat Flowers Bloom (Lee Hyo Seok), The Hen Who Escaped the Cage (Hwang Sun Mi), Please Look After Mom (Shin Kyung Sook), Inconvenient Convenience Store (Kim Ho Yeon)...

The Korean Literature Drama Competition, held for the first time in 2022, aims to create an interesting and useful playground for Korean literature and culture for students studying Korean language departments.
