University adds 3 admission points to candidates with IELTS 4.0

On March 21, many more universities in the North announced their plans for regular university admissions in 2025. This year, training institutions do not need to allocate quotas for each method, but must determine the conversion rules equivalent to the input threshold and admission scores of the admission methods, admission methods, and admission combinations according to the general instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

University of Electricity increased more than 2,800 quotas

This year, the University of Electricity It is expected to recruit 6,800 full-time university students, an increase of more than 2,800 compared to last year.

In particular, this year the school plans to enroll 13 new majors, including many majors that are of interest to society and learners, such as semiconductor and microchip engineering technology, robotics engineering, nuclear engineering technology, thermal engineering, etc.

This year, the University of Electricity will enroll students in four ways, including considering academic records; considering academic records of two subjects combined with international English certificates; considering high school graduation exam scores; and direct admission.

The school considers candidates with international English certificates with IELTS equivalent to 5.0 or higher. The converted score is from 8.5 to 10 points.

Enrollment targets for 2025 of the University of Electricity are as follows:

Hanoi University of Pharmacy said that this year it plans to enroll 940 students, of which the school will enroll 760 students in pharmacy (group A00); pharmaceutical chemistry (A00), chemistry (A00), biotechnology (B00), each major will enroll 60 students.

The total quota for the Pharmacy major includes 30 quotas for the joint program with the University of Sydney, Australia. The total quota for the whole school includes the quota allocated to the Central Ethnic University Preparatory School.

This year, the school will enroll students through four methods, including direct admission; consideration of high school transcripts with SAT certificates, consideration of specialized student transcripts or consideration of A-level certificates; consideration of thinking assessment scores of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (only applicable to pharmacy); consideration of high school graduation exam scores.

Candidates who want to combine their transcripts with their SAT certificates must have an SAT certificate of 1,400 points for pharmacy, and at least 1,350 points for other majors.

In addition, other conditions must be met such as achieving excellent academic performance for 3 years, high school academic results for each year of grades 10, 11, 12 of each subject in the admission group must not be less than 8.0...

Candidates with IELTS 4.0 certificate will have 3 points added directly to their admission score.

Hanoi University of Culture said that in 2025 it plans to enroll 1,900 full-time university students, an increase of 50 students compared to last year.

The school plans to use three admission methods, including direct admission, giving priority to candidates with outstanding abilities and achievements; admission based on high school graduation exam scores; and considering academic records.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores and academic records, in addition to the priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the school said it will add 3 points on a 30-point scale for candidates with one of the following English certificates:

Hanoi Capital University said that in 2025 it plans to recruit 2,365 students, of which for teacher training majors, the school will recruit 45 students for mathematics education, 23 students for physics education, 45 students for literature education, 27 students for history education, 210 students for preschool education, and 40 students for English education...

The school uses 5 admission methods, including direct admission; admission based on international language certificates level 3 or equivalent; review of academic records (not applicable to teacher training majors, except for physical education); review of high school graduation exam scores; review of competency assessment test scores organized by Hanoi National University of Education.
