Commercial electricity in February 2025 reached 7.16 billion kWh, up 14.18% compared to February 2024, of which the construction industry sector accounted for 61.47% and increased by 21.67%, the consumer management sector accounted for 31.08% and increased by 1.84%, the commercial service sector accounted for 2.81% and increased by 11.63% over the same period. The cumulative commercial output in the first two months of 2025 reached 14.649 billion kWh, up 5.23% compared to the same two months of 2024 and reaching 13.45% of the target assigned by EVN for the whole year of 2025.
Electricity saving work continues to be implemented. In the first two months of 2025, the total electricity saving output of the Corporation reached about 304.71 million kWh, reaching 2.36% compared to commercial electricity.
In February 2025, EVNNPC received and resolved new power supply requests for 19,909 customers, including 15,655 residential customers, with an average processing time of 2.71 days/request; 4,138 non-residential customers, with an average processing time of 2.84 days/request; 116 customers purchasing electricity at medium voltage level, with an average processing time of 2.93 days/request. All customer requests were resolved within the time limit prescribed by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN).

Actual power loss in February 2025 reached 2.62%, an increase of 1.75% over the same period in 2024 and 1.58% lower than the target assigned by EVN.
The rate of customers paying electricity bills without using cash of EVNNPC by the end of February 2025 reached 92.58%, 5.39% higher than the same period in 2024; revenue through cashless payment channels reached 98.13%.
Regarding investment in construction of 110kV power grid projects, in February 2025, the Corporation energized 02 projects including: Increasing the capacity of transformer T1 at 110kV Thuan Chau station, Son La province; Increasing the capacity of transformer T2 at 110kV Quang Uyen station, Cao Bang province. Accumulated in 2 months of 2025, 06/113 projects were energized, reaching 5.3% of the plan assigned by EVN.

In the following months, EVNNPC will continue to strengthen the management and operation of the power grid, calculate the optimal operation method to ensure safe and stable power supply in 27 northern provinces/cities to serve political, economic, social and daily life events; proactively develop plans to ensure power supply in the summer of 2025; speed up the progress of construction investment projects, especially overload prevention projects and medium-voltage investment projects to share the load for transformers carrying high loads; strengthen the inspection of long-term operating lines and equipment to promptly detect abnormalities and prevent incidents.
Promote propaganda and recommendations on electrical safety, grid corridor safety, and fire and explosion prevention in the areas managed by EVNNPC; Propagate and guide people, businesses, and households in the area on legal regulations on economical and efficient use of electricity; Deploy activities in response to Earth Hour 2025 with the message "Green transition - Green future".
EVNNPC recommends that customers, offices and production facilities join hands to use electricity economically and effectively, turn off unnecessary electrical equipment and limit the use of high-capacity equipment during peak hours: from 10:30 to 14:30 and from 17:00 to 23:00 every day. At the same time, pay attention to the reasonable use of air conditioning (set at 26°C or higher, use in combination with fans).
