The unit advanced 85 million VND to a group of workers whose wages were “cheated” by the subcontractor. At the same time, the unit is searching for Mr. Pham Van Giang – who is said to have “cheated” on the workers.
“ We have sent a petition to the police requesting that the authorities investigate and ensure the rights of the workers. They are currently rebuilding this highway project, and we will directly manage it ,” said Mr. Thang.

Mr. Pham Van Giang - Director of GST Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company, headquartered in Nam Tuy Hoa new urban area (KP3, Phu Dong ward, Tuy Hoa city) received the construction of a number of items for Phuong Nam Phat Construction and Transport Joint Stock Company in package XL02.
Phuong Nam Phat Construction and Transport Joint Stock Company has paid all the money for Mr. Giang to pay the workers. However, Mr. Giang did not pay the workers but cut off contact and fled the area.
The iron worker group led by Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (residing in Hoa Vinh ward, Dong Hoa town) with 13 people was owed more than 119.3 million VND by Mr. Giang. The iron worker group led by Mr. Le Thanh Tung (residing in Hoa Tan Dong commune, Dong Hoa town) with 35 people was owed more than 231.3 million VND by Mr. Giang.
Because Mr. Giang had fled but did not pay nearly 50 workers, while waiting for law enforcement agencies to verify and handle the case, Phuong Nam Phat Construction and Transport Joint Stock Company shared the difficulties by supporting Mr. Hung's group with an advance of 30 million VND and Mr. Tung's group with 55 million VND.
