From May 23 to 25, senior security officials from many countries attended a meeting in the Moscow region, the first in three years.

Secretaries of security councils, assistants and advisers to heads of state, deputy prime ministers, heads of security agencies and special agencies of many countries will attend the event.
The forum is held under the auspices of the Russian Security Council. The Russian delegation is led by Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev.
The agenda is expected to include issues related to ensuring national, regional and global security.
The main activities are scheduled for May 24 and 25, but the first events begin on May 23.
Meanwhile, ahead of the conference, Mr. Patrushev had time to hold bilateral meetings with foreign counterparts visiting Russia, including representatives from Benin, Venezuela, Cuba, Namibia and the Republic of Congo.
The specific list of countries sending representatives to attend the conference has not yet been announced.
Earlier, RIA news agency reported that on May 22, Mr. Patrushev will hold a dialogue with Politburo member and Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of China Chen Wenqing. This is China's top security agency.
