After cooperating with Duy Tan University to implement the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) project and many other professional exchange activities, recently on November 24, 2023, Samsung Vietnam sponsored the school with a Lab room consisting of 30 high-configuration computers.
This activity further demonstrates Samsung's commitment to contributing to nurturing Vietnamese technology talents as well as building a sustainable relationship with Duy Tan University in training high-quality human resources for society.
Mr. Choi Joo Ho - General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex spoke and visited the new computer lab with Duy Tan University leaders.
The computer lab was opened and located at Duy Tan University, campus No. 3 Quang Trung, Da Nang City, as one of the sponsorships of Samsung Vietnam within the framework of the Samsung Innovation Campus 2022 - 2023 project. With 30 high-configuration computers, 1 laptop and 1 smart TV, this computer lab will contribute to ensuring teaching and coordinating the implementation of training activities of Samsung Vietnam at Duy Tan University in the 2023-2024 school year and the following years.
Specifically, the 2023-2024 school year will implement 3 courses:
- Internet of Things (IoT),
- Artificial Intelligence (AI),
- Big Data,
In addition to an additional course on Basic Programming Skills (Coding & Programming).
In 2023, Duy Tan University students participated in the Science and Technology Innovation Contest in the form of Robocon and won both the First Prize and Second Prize. This is a creative playground coordinated by Samsung and many universities in Vietnam for students nationwide to have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in technology. In addition, 25 Duy Tan University students participated in the SIC project with the Big Data training course, of which 12 students were interned at the Samsung Research & Development Center in Hanoi. 8 Duy Tan students with good achievements in the SIC course were also officially accepted by Samsung RD.

Mr. Choi Joo Ho - General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex emphasized: "Today is the era of Science and Technology. Science and technology powers are leading the global economy and advanced technology is changing our lives creatively. At the heart of that change is technology talent. We are at a time when we need many talents who not only have good professional knowledge but also good qualities.
In just a short time, Duy Tan students have achieved many successes in both competitions and training activities organized by Samsung, partly affirming their abilities. These achievements are also largely based on the close cooperation and consensus of Samsung and Duy Tan University towards common goals, which is to work together to train excellent technical human resources suitable for the needs of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
Through the cooperation process with Duy Tan University, we have realized that the school is truly one of the top training units in the Central region and the top of Vietnam. As a global IT corporation and the largest FDI enterprise in Vietnam, Samsung wishes to contribute its best to the training of technology talents. Specifically, it is sponsoring a modern computer lab at Duy Tan University with the hope of continuing to work with the school to open up more learning opportunities and improve knowledge for generations of Duy Tan University students in particular and Vietnamese students in general .

Samsung's senior leadership team also commented: With space, landscape, technical infrastructure conditions, and modern equipment investments, the Computer Lab located at Duy Tan University will contribute to training high-quality human resources, bringing significant changes in the field of technology training in the locality in the near future.
