The February match, 2nd quarter, Road to Olympia 25th year took place this afternoon (March 9) and witnessed the dramatic competition of 4 climbers: Tran Quang Tung (Vinh University High School for the Gifted - Nghe An), Do Ha Trung (Thai Phuc High School - Thai Binh), Nguyen Nhut Lam (Cai Be High School - Tien Giang), Pham Hoang Quan (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted - Binh Dinh).

After the individual Warm-up round, except for Nhut Lam who temporarily took the lead with 40 points, the remaining three contestants Quang Tung, Ha Trung and Hoang Quan all had 20 points. With 12 general Warm-up questions, the contestants all tried their best to press the bell to answer. As a result, Nhut Lam continued to maintain the top position in the mountain climbing group with 60 points. Following immediately were Ha Trung with 45 points, Quang Tung with 40 and Hoang Quan with 20.
The keyword to find in this month's Obstacle Course consists of 5 letters. The first horizontal row is selected with the question: "Wedges, gears, screws are some common types of... simple machines". All four climbers won points with the correct answer "Machine".

As soon as the first hint image was revealed, Quang Tung quickly pressed the bell to answer the keyword. With the answer "Robot", the Binh Dinh student could not hide his anxiety and said that he was not really sure about this answer. However, this was the correct answer and his daring helped Quang Tung rise to the top of the climbing group with 110 points, followed by Nhut Lam, Hoang Quan and Ha Trung.
In the Acceleration round, Quang Tung continued to perform very well when he twice won the full score of 40, the remaining contestants are also trying to increase their scores. After 4 questions, Quang Tung still maintained the leading position with 210 points. Nhut Lam followed closely with 190 points, Ha Trung and Hoang Quan followed with 105 and 100 points.
Entering the decisive round - Finish Line, Quang Tung was the first contestant to choose the 20 - 20 - 20 point question package with a safe strategy. Quang Tung answered 2 questions incorrectly and temporarily stopped his competition with 230 points.
Not far from the leader, Nhut Lam chose the 3-question package worth 20 points. The male student answered incorrectly on the first question and then quickly scored points on the next question. The last question was in English, leaving the male student unable to give an answer even though he understood the question. Nhut Lam temporarily had 210 points.
Hoang Quan chose the 20 - 20 - 30 point question package. Because he answered incorrectly, the male student let the score fall into the hands of Nhut Lam, at the same time helping his friend to rise to the same score as the leader at that time, Quang Tung. Hoang Quan answered the Physics question correctly and finished his round with 130 points.
Hoang Trung chose the 90-point package and the star of hope in the last question for the two contestants who had the same score. However, the surprising thing was that in this last question, both contestants Quang Tung and Nhut Lam did not have the answer. Meanwhile, Hoang Trung gave the correct answer, ending the contest with 145 points.
Finally, the two contestants Quang Tung and Nhat Lam had to go through the extra question. This was a question about Chemistry. Quang Tung rang the bell to answer first but got the wrong answer, while Nhat Lam gave the correct answer.

In the end, the laurel wreath of the February round, Quarter 2 of the 25th Road to Olympia belonged to Nguyen Nhut Lam (Cai Be High School, Tien Giang) with 230 points. Second place with 230 points was Tran Quang Tung (Vinh University High School for the Gifted, Nghe An), Do Ha Trung (Thai Phuc High School, Thai Binh) ranked third with 145 points and Pham Hoang Quan (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Binh Dinh) came in last.
