Reviewing records of universal preschool for 5-year-old children

The Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City, requested units and preschools in the district to review the records of universal preschool education for 5-year-old children, grasp the situation of 5-year-old children in the area; update and store complete records annually at the unit.

Today, March 6, the Department of Education and Training of Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City issued a notice of conclusion and direction of the Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of the district - Ms. Le Thi Kim Chau at the conference to review the first semester and deploy tasks for the second semester of preschool education in the 2024-2025 school year.

Ensure absolute physical and mental safety for preschool children

Ms. Le Thi Kim Chau requested that units continue to do a good job of ensuring absolute physical and mental safety for children, in which, paying special attention to hygiene and disease prevention; ensuring food safety and hygiene; and strengthening the inspection of supplies at the unit.

Units must coordinate with the health sector to organize medical examinations and manage children, promptly inform the Department of Education and Training, local health stations, and district health centers of any unusual health conditions in children.

In addition, the Deputy Head of the District Education and Training Department also requested schools: Can Thanh 2 Kindergarten, Doi Lau Kindergarten, Thanh An Kindergarten and other units to review the conditions for preparing to pilot the new Preschool Education program. At the same time, schools need to continue to pay attention to implementing the English familiarization for preschool children according to regulations.

The principal must strictly implement the meeting regime.

The leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Can Gio district requested units to review the records of universalizing preschool children of 5 years old, grasp the situation of 5-year-old children in the area; update and store full records annually at the unit. At the same time, to do a good job of mobilizing children to go to class to ensure the assigned targets, units need to coordinate with local universalization specialists to grasp the situation of preschool children, 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds in the area.

Also according to the direction of the Deputy Head of the District Education and Training Department, the units need to review and ensure the operation of the School Council and other councils in the school according to the provisions of Circular No. 52/2020/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training on Promulgating the Charter of Kindergartens. At the same time, "Principals of kindergartens must strictly implement the meeting regime; report according to regulations; pay attention to the industry database. The reported data must be accurate and consistent, the principal is requested to check carefully before signing", the announcement of the Department of Education and Training clearly stated.
