On February 15, the Department of Education and Training of Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City organized the STEAM Education Festival - Unleashing Creativity with the participation of nearly 1,000 students, teachers, and parents from preschool to secondary school in the area.
At the festival, the area displaying and introducing homemade teaching aids by preschool teachers from schools in Phu Nhuan district made a strong impression.
From just a large piece of cardboard, plus toilet paper rolls, teachers at Son Ca 14 Kindergarten have created tools for students to play the "quick hands, quick eyes" game.
"Nursery and kindergarten students can play this game and play it many times for different purposes. For example, with kindergarten students, we ask them to choose balls of specific colors to drop down the paper cores so that they can pass through. This game is to educate students to distinguish colors.
For kindergarten students, teachers make balloons with letters written on them and then ask students to choose a certain letter to put into paper cores," said Ms. Nguyen Ha Kim Khanh, a teacher at Son Ca 14 Kindergarten.

More specifically, the group of teachers from Son Ca 10 Kindergarten made many people admire when they made a model of an elevated train, with a road traffic model below: "We were able to complete this solar-powered high-speed train model thanks to the help of parents.
From the teacher's original idea, some parents in the school helped us make solar panels to attach to this mini ship so that it could run on the model.
Teachers let children observe the train running under the light and the train will stop when the solar panel is covered, which will help children understand solar energy and its applications... Teachers can also use the road model below to teach children about traffic laws" - Ms. Dao Thi Truc Linh, teacher at Son Ca 10 Kindergarten, shared.
