Hanoi University of Architecture increases admission combination

Hanoi University of Architecture plans to enroll 3,200 students this year, an increase of 720 compared to last year.

8 groups for admission to gifted majors, including V00 (Math, Physics, Fine Arts), V01 (Math, Literature, Fine Arts), V02 (Math, English, Fine Arts), H00 (Literature, Fine Arts, Color Composition), H02 (Math, Fine Arts, Color Composition), A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), C01 (Math, Literature, Physics), D01 (Math, Literature, English).

For this group, the school removed the D07 group (Math, Chemistry, English) compared to last year.

In the majors without aptitude subjects, Hanoi University of Architecture retains the traditional A00 combination, while adding new combinations to suit the new program. These are C02 (Math, Literature, Chemistry), THM (Math, Literature, Technology), THM2 (Math, Literature, Information Technology).

Majors with combinations using Technology subjects such as Water Supply and Drainage Engineering, Urban Infrastructure Engineering, Urban Environmental Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Traffic Construction Engineering... Combinations with Information Technology subject apply to majors of Information Technology, Multimedia Technology, Game Technology.

In addition, in 2025, Hanoi University of Architecture will stop directly admitting candidates with IELTS 6.0. The school will recruit students using the same four methods as last year but with some adjustments.

Regarding transcripts, the school does not consider early admission but at the same time as considering high school graduation exam scores, according to the new regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Candidates who graduated this year and previous years can register, the condition is that the average score of three subjects in the group, in 6 semesters is from 18 points or more. In which, the minimum score for each semester subject is 5.

The majors considered for transcripts are Water Supply and Drainage Engineering, Urban Infrastructure Engineering, Urban Environmental Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Traffic Construction Engineering, Construction Project Management, Urban Underground Construction, Civil and Industrial Construction, Construction Materials Engineering Technology.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, Hanoi University of Architecture applies to all majors and majors that do not have aptitude tests. The admission score is the total score of three subjects and priority points (if any).

Admission combining graduation exam scores with aptitude is the third method, for majors and majors with specific combinations such as V00, V01, V02, H00, H02.

Finally, Hanoi University of Architecture conducts direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, with its own project.

With two international joint programs, the school reviews applications and conducts direct interviews according to the regulations of foreign schools.

Candidates with an English certificate according to regulations with an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher and equivalent certificates in the following table, who register for admission to the advanced program in Architecture of the School, will be considered for additional priority points for admission to the admission subject group, but not exceeding the maximum score of the scale.
