These achievements are the driving force for VINIF to continue to innovate and create, joining hands with managers, universities, and research institutes to create even greater turning points for Vietnamese science ."
Sharing the above viewpoint, Deputy Minister Tran Hong Thai, Ministry of Science and Technology, said: “2023 is a year with many positive signs of change when the strategy for developing science, technology and innovation in Vietnam to 2030 was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 569/QD-TTg dated May 11, 2022, which emphasized that resources from enterprises are extremely important.
The Fund's support has effectively supported thousands of scientists, developed many strong research groups at universities, supported the commercialization of products through research and development (R&D), and enhanced Vietnam's science and technology potential.
On this occasion, we propose that VINIF Fund study priority research directions and national products approved by the Prime Minister so that it can work with ministries and branches to focus resources on new and high technologies to form new industries and new products with high added value, especially in areas where Vietnam is strong such as agriculture, manufacturing and processing industry, services, information technology... or pioneer in Industry 4.0 technologies.
We believe that VINIF, together with many funds and businesses, will join hands to build a modern and developed Vietnamese science and technology, for a prosperous and happy Vietnam ."
