On the last working day of the 5th Session (June 24), the National Assembly voted to pass 1 law and 4 resolutions, and also met separately to discuss personnel work.

Specifically, in the morning, the National Assembly voted to pass the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam; then discussed in the hall the draft Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level.

At the end of the session, the National Assembly held a separate meeting on personnel work.

In the early afternoon, the National Assembly voted to pass a Resolution on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City; a Resolution on the results of thematic supervision of "the mobilization, management and use of resources for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic; the implementation of policies and laws on grassroots health care and preventive medicine".

After continuing to meet privately to discuss personnel matters, the National Assembly held its closing session.

The closing session of the 5th Session was broadcast live on Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam Television and Vietnam National Assembly Television for voters and people nationwide to follow.

In the closing session, the National Assembly will vote to pass two important resolutions, including: Resolution on questions and answers; Resolution of the 5th session, 15th National Assembly (which stipulates: Adjusting the investment policy of the Ka Pet Reservoir Project, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province; continuing to implement the policy of reducing value added tax by 2% according to Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022 and the policy of investing in additional charter capital for the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development).
