More than 450 works participated in the Thai Binh Beautiful Photo Contest

On the morning of March 20, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association to organize a conference to summarize, award and exhibit the Thai Binh Beautiful Photo Contest on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of the province's founding (March 21, 1890 - March 21, 2025) and the provincial culture, sports and tourism festival on March 21. Attending the event were comrade Pham Van Nghiem, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee viewed the exhibition of Beautiful Photos of Thai Binh.

The contest took place from January 8 to March 5, 2025, attracting more than 450 works by 77 authors from 13 provinces and cities across the country to participate in the form of receiving photos online. The works all ensure the form and specifications according to the contest rules; were composed within the space of Thai Binh province. The photo content vividly reflects moments of life, labor and production activities, customs, habits, and culture of the people; architectural works, scenic spots, historical relics, typical tourist destinations; art forms, traditional festivals, folk culture and local cuisine... Thereby, the works contribute to honoring the historical, cultural, human, natural landscape values, as well as the socio-economic development, national defense - security and foreign affairs of the province.

Comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the first prize winner of the contest. The organizers awarded prizes to the two authors who won second prize in the contest. The organizers awarded prizes to the third prize winners of the contest. The organizers awarded certificates to the authors whose works were exhibited.

In the end, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes. The Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists sponsored the contest and issued certificates to the winning works. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee selected 39 excellent works to display at the exhibition.
