Promote cooperative relationships
With the aim of not only enhancing economic relations but also enhancing mutual understanding on strategic issues, the meeting clarified key cooperation directions in the context of the global economy undergoing a strong technological shift.
Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment Le Quang Huy emphasized that sharing legislative and policy experiences on technology is a key factor in promoting new technology fields. Vietnam can learn and apply advanced models from the Czech Republic to build technology infrastructure and develop a knowledge-based economy.
Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong also shared his views on the importance of cooperation between the two countries in the field of technology, and emphasized Vietnam's commitment to creating a favorable investment environment for Czech companies, especially in high-tech industries. Semiconductor Technology - The Future of Collaboration
One of the important highlights of the meeting was the special attention paid to the semiconductor technology sector. The Czech side presented the national semiconductor development strategy, an area in which the country is placing high expectations to promote industrial development in the coming years. Experts from the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade affirmed that semiconductor technology is the basis for the development of industries such as electronics, telecommunications, automobiles, and even the defense industry.
The Czech Republic also shared its experience in developing semiconductor research and manufacturing infrastructure, and pledged to cooperate with Vietnam in transferring semiconductor technology, especially in developing new-generation semiconductor devices to serve the needs of the ICT, automotive and other supporting industries. AI and Quantum Technology - The Way Forward
In addition to semiconductor technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum technology are also key areas that the two sides focused on exchanging. Representatives from the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade shared that AI and quantum technology will be indispensable technologies in the development of key industries of the two countries in the future.

At the end of the meeting, the Vietnamese side officially invited the Czech Republic to organize the Digital Technology Business Forum in Vietnam, creating opportunities for Czech and Vietnamese businesses to meet, exchange and seek cooperation opportunities. The Czech side welcomed this initiative and committed to sending a large business delegation, not only in the semiconductor sector but also in high-tech industries such as ICT, AI, VR to attend.
