At around 6:10 a.m. this morning, December 27, smoke and fire billowed from a restaurant at No. 2, Alley 4, Ao Sen Street (Mo Lao Ward, Ha Dong District, Hanoi). The fire spread to the upper floors, and some people quickly found a way to escape.
Upon receiving the news, Ha Dong District Police dispatched fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police dispatched two fire trucks to coordinate the rescue. At around 6:45, the fire was completely extinguished. There were no casualties, property damage is being counted.
According to information from the People's Committee of Mo Lao ward, the house that caught fire is a 4-storey house combined with a restaurant business.
Immediately after discovering the fire, the local fire brigade and local residents shouted and guided the 6 people in the house to quickly escape safely. The initial cause of the fire was suspected to be an electrical short circuit.
