POCO Pad - the first tablet of POCO (Xiaomi's low-cost smartphone sub-brand) has just been launched in Dubai along with the F6 and F6 Pro smartphone duo. This tablet is equipped with a 12.1-inch screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 2.5K resolution, comes with a three-layer TÜV Rheinland certification to protect users' eyes, along with a 4-speaker system supporting Dolby Atmos.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor optimized on the HyperOS operating system. POCO Pad is compatible with a wide range of peripheral accessories.
POCO Pad has a design that is not too different from most tablets in the same segment today, but uses super-thin unibody metal instead of plastic. The device has two color options: Graphite Gray or Ocean Blue. The battery has a capacity of 10,000 mAh, supports 33W fast charging, and supports many smart accessories such as POCO Smart Pen, Pad Keyboard and Pad Cover.
Immediately after its launch in Dubai, the company also announced the price for the Vietnamese market with the 8 GB RAM, 256 GB internal memory version at 8.69 million VND, available in 2 colors. The price announced at the event was 329 USD, no significant difference.
Launched on the same stage were the POCO F6 and F6 Pro phones, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, Qualcomm's high-end mobile processor that is currently available on many flagships from other brands on the market today. Both are equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery for long-lasting use. The F6 version uses 90W fast charging while the Pro version reaches a maximum of 120W.
POCO F6 Pro runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and fast charging up to 120W.
POCO F6 Pro has many high-end features such as Flow AMOLED WQHD+ 120 Hz screen, 2K resolution, 4,000 nits maximum brightness, 3,840 Hz PWM dimming and TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification, Dual Native ISO Fusion camera sensor system, Burst Mode 2.0 with POCO Imaging Engine and Ultra Night algorithms.
Unlike the F6 Pro, the F6 version is equipped with a 6.67-inch CrystalRes 120 Hz Flow AMOLED DotDisplay screen, a maximum brightness of 2,400 nits and 68 billion colors, 1.5K resolution. The device has 3 50 MP cameras, including an ultra-wide IMX882 sensor with f/1.59 aperture, increasing the ability to capture light.
