Thanh Hoa Club says goodbye to coach Popov

Thanh Hoa FC and coach Velizar Popov have terminated their contracts ahead of schedule. This decision was made after a meeting between the Bulgarian coach and the Thanh Hoa team's leadership this morning (March 5).

Thanh Hoa FC's recent poor performance is the main reason why coach Velizar Popov left. Once at the top of the V.League 2024-2025 rankings, the Thanh Hoa team has plummeted since the beginning of 2025.
