47-year-old Associate Professor becomes Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy

Associate Professor Ngo Quoc Dat, 47 years old, was appointed as Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy and became the 6th principal of this school.

The Minister of Health has just signed a decision on recognizing the Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Accordingly, Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Quoc Dat, Vice Principal in charge of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, was recognized as the Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy for the 2020-2025 term. With this decision, Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Quoc Dat became the 6th Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy to date.

Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Quoc Dat, 47 years old, from Binh Duong, started working at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2003 and has held many management positions at units under the school.

Specifically, since March 2003, Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Quoc Dat has been a lecturer in the Department of Pathological Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City. In September 2012, Mr. Dat held the position of Deputy Head of the Training Management Board (Faculty of Medicine); In June 2013, he became Deputy Head of the Department of Pathological Anatomy (Faculty of Medicine). From September 2015, he became Deputy Head of the Faculty of Medicine and concurrently Head of the Department of Laboratory Medicine (Faculty of Nursing, Technology and Medicine) from August 2022.

From March 2023, Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Quoc Dat has been Vice Principal in charge of professional affairs and has become Vice Principal in charge of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy from August 2023 to present.
