Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hieu Giang officially became the Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education.
Today (January 24), Associate Professor Dr. Le Hieu Giang was officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training as the Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education. With this recognition, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education officially has a principal after more than 3 years of vacancy in this position.
Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hieu Giang was born in 1972 and is a former student of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education. He received his PhD in 2003 from Czech Technical University in Prague (Czech Republic) and was appointed associate professor in 2012.
During his time working at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, Mr. Giang held the positions of Deputy Head of Training Department and Vice Principal from 2013 to 2022.
Mr. Giang was assigned by the School Board to be in charge of the school twice, the first time in June 2022 and the second time from November 2022 to the end of October 2023. Before officially taking on the position of Principal, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hieu Giang was assigned the position of Principal from November 1, 2023 to October 31, 2024, and then continued to be assigned the position of Principal until now.
Since May 2021, when the previous principal retired, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education has had an official principal.
Currently, the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education consists of 3 people. Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hieu Giang holds the position of Principal, 2 Vice Principals include: Dr. Quach Thanh Hai and Associate Professor, Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh. Dr. Truong Thi Hien holds the position of Chairwoman of the School Council.
